Taxi Information

Taxis are available from the ground level of Myrtle Beach Airport. Note the medallion number, which is on the partition of your taxi, on the exterior of both passenger doors and on the dashboard. It is also on rear license plates and printed on your receipt. Also note the driver's chauffeur permit on the dashboard in case there is a problem with your ride. The driver is required to take passengers to any destination in Myrtle Beach.

Rates effective May 3, 2006

• Meter will read $1.50 at the start of the trip
• The fare is 2.40/mile for all taxi cabs - Myrtle Beach city requlations
• There is $1 additional charge for any extra passengers
• You may have to pay $6 extra for Airport surcharge
