The significant thing that many should consider addictions to gambling or anything else is that in case you don’t start, you won’t be caught. Myth: “The loosest machines have been placed at the entrances.”
Truth: All machines are pre-programed to maintain a certain proportion of monies played over time to guarantee a profit. This is the house advantage or casino edge. The proportions may vary from 1 to 15%, depending on authority, denomination, or kind.
Myth: “The slots appear to be hitting less on the weekends when it is crowded. That is if they tighten them up to earn more money”.
